Study Permits & Provincial Attestation Letters

Recently, the Government of Canada  that international students are required to submit an attestation letter as part of their study permit application. After you accept an offer of admission to Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø, your provincial attestation letter (PAL) will be issued following receipt of your $2,000 acceptance deposit. This non-refundable deposit will be applied to your tuition fees: it is not an additional fee. You will be notified by email when your PAL is available in . Pathway to Permanent Residence

Are you an international Francophone student interested in York? The Francophone Minority Communities Student Pilot (FMCSP) is an initiative by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to support French-speaking international students with a Pathway to Permanent Residence.

International Entrance Scholarships: Winter 2026

When you apply to Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø as an International Student for Winter 2026, you’ll automatically be considered for an entrance scholarship on the basis of your final admission average. These scholarships recognize your academic achievements and range from $2,500 to $37,500!
